I really don't get the hype.
It took me until around 15% to even work out who the narrator was. The story didn't flow to me. It seemed to jump around with not much depth or description. There was barely any world building. There were also lots of characters mentioned and kind of dropped in the story with no real development.
I struggled to read this, and had it not been a book club read, I definitely would have DNF'd it.
