I adored this book-- especially London and Dahlia and their individual growth, as well as how they navigated their relationship together! It was messy and lovely and real. The family dynamics on both sides were so real, as well. I'm grateful for the way it all wrapped up at the end-- not just conveniently with a bow, but still with hope for positive outcomes (like with London and their dad still figuring things out but with London being firm in standing up for themselves, that was super empowering!).

The cooking show aspect  was fun, too (though not the bigoted fellow contestants and the interaction between Janet and Dahlia oof). I enjoyed looking up the different dishes they made and it made me hungry every time haha!

Overall, 11/10 would highly recommend!
