Coming in well over 700 pages, this is the longest book I’ve read to date but not once did it drag. This isn’t just a romance; it’s a whole experience. ❤️
I've heard workplace rules were meant to be broken… and Kayadah & Jonel prove just how deliciously messy that can get. What starts as an absolutely no romance situation quickly spirals into stolen glances, sizzling chemistry, and late-night moments they swore they wouldn’t/couldn't/shouldn't have.
This book took me through every emotion possible (happy, sad, tickled, annoyed, mad, loved...you get it) I loved the cookie recipe theme throughout the book tying the story together in a way I've never seen done before. Bella Jay ate this up and left no crumbs 🍪
I absolutely loved the internal conversations they had with themselves..omg had me cracking up!
Yadah went through alot but her strength mixed with her vulnerability was beautiful to read. I loved her therapy journey and how she was determined to heal herself from past and present issues. I loved the bond she grew with her parents as an adult, and how she poured into Nelly supporting him and his dreams.
Nelly has officially entered my book boyfriend hall of fame. The way he was so attentive and listened to her every word showing up without her having to say anything. The weekly check-ins was nice <3
And the spice? Ohhh, the spice. Babyyyy
Trust me when I say this is one treat you’ll want on your shelf.
