Good self-help book in that it gives very practical strategies to help with a common challenge (keeping your home and space clean when you have little time/energy). I found the hand holding a little silly - the author goes to great lengths to reassure the reader that they are not broken or immoral for not being able to keep a spotless house. While I'm sure there are folks out there that would benefit from this message, it felt like overkill for me as somebody who doesn't really struggle with shame in this particular arena. I also felt like the author gets a little distracted and goes on tangents (e.g., her HAES mini-rant toward the end of the book - besides the fact that i dislike HAES movement, it was also totally unrelated to the topic at hand). I also had some minor complaints about her writing style, but it was easily digestible, and given the target audience, I think that's what matters most.
