absolutely deserves all of the hype it has. i was a bit worried that i had my expectations set too high because of how popular this book is, but it somehow still managed to exceed them. taylor jenkins reid is brilliant at portraying historical hollywood and she always chooses the best writing style to convey it. cried through like 5 chapters straight near the end, i am a mess for the yearning sapphics.
