The intriguing concept was absolutely butchered by the juvenile writing, sloppy world building, and terrible character development. I had to roll my eyes at some of the descriptions way too often. The ending seems like it's supposed to be "open-ended", which to me feels like a lazy way to not bother to conclude your story properly. The only reason it gets more than one star is because the premise rocks; too bad the author didn't deliver at all.
