I’ll be honest, kinda got into this one during a reading slump which made the middle draggggggg and sometimes hard to get through and then subsequently, I would not remember who was who. It got confusing. I considered giving it 4 stars, BUT THE END. Made it all worth it. Had me like 🤭😭💔🥲💝❤️‍🩹💕 everything. Love this book, and such a delicious way of telling a common Chinese folklore!
