The Personal MBA: Master the Art of Business by Josh Kaufman

4.0

It took me a very long time to finish this book, but it was worth it. The chapters are very short, but dense and thought-provoking. Easy to take in small chunks, but hard to sustain long reading sessions. I had to take a little bit every day. But the directness and clarity of the insights rewarded each return. I expect I will re-read large portions of this book over the years.

If I have one complaint, it's that depth appears to have been sacrificed for concision. But the book cites its sources, and so it has also given me a rather long follow-up reading list which I will use to dig deeper into things. I especially look forward to expounding on the early bits about how to understand business, and the later bits about how to understand systems.
