meatbun carved out my heart and ate it still beating. never in my life have i read something and felt the anger, hatred, love and frustration as i did reading this novel. from beginning to end i didn't know what to expect from mo ran, such a complex and interesting character!! everything that happened to him made me crumble and just want to take him away from that terrible world. and CHU WANNING MY BELOVED... same as mo ran, such a strong and complicated character. i love how he's described as such an untouchable and cold man but when you get to see his side you realize just how raw and emotional he is and how deep he feels (which is exactly my favorite type of character, thank you meatbun). so many intricate details that keep you wondering until the very end and then, boom! nicely closed with a bow on it. UGHHH!! the dark, gritty, dirty and heart-wrenching narration and events that happen here are NOT for everyone, and definitely not for those who are sensitive to heavy topics, so be warned.
