The Anomaly by Hervé Le Tellier
4.0
Final Rating: 3.5/5⭐️
A flight from Paris - New York mysteriously lands twice, once in March and 2021 once in June 2021. It is an exact duplicate - the machine, the people, everything. These people have the same memories as their doppelgängers, except for the previous 3 months.
This novel follows various passengers of this plane, explores their double lives, and hypothesizes an explanation of this phenomenon.
I enjoyed this book and it intrigued me enough throughout that I kept reading, but I didn’t really connect with the characters all that much which lowered my review. The author has a very unique way of writing - almost cryptic? like everything is meant to be pondered? idk how to explain it but it was very philosophical.
Overall would recommend, especially if you’re a fan of the show “Manifest” on Netflix!
