It is a contemporary fantasy fiction with LGBTQ+ representation. Just like V.E Schwab has said it feels like being wrapped up in a big gay blanket, but add to this little sparkles of magic.

In this book you follow Linus Baker who works as a Case Worker at the Department in Charge Of Magical Youth, one day he will get a classified assignment from Extremely Upper Management. This assignment will change his life in a way he didn't expected it. The House in the Cerulean Sea is about the profound experience of discovering an unlikely family in an unexpected place and realizing how much that family has changed him.
