i think that this is a failure of a batman arc... in many ways it misconstrues the relationships between bruce, barbara, and jason, and their history with the joker. i’m also biased because explanations and character breakdowns of the joker don’t interest me. its interpretation of the characters, their relationships and history is surface-level and unoriginal from any old batfam fanon read.
