3.5 stars, rounded up because the ending had me in tears and I've got to respect a book that makes me weep. I listened to the audiobook and I enjoyed the reader's accent and character voices.

Being a busy mom with a tendency to get distracted from the important things in life, this novel stirred up a lot of emotions in me and inspired some personal reflection. It was a bit uncomfortable, to be honest. But timely and appreciated overall.

I enjoyed the format with its blend of Emma's first-person story, letters from Dan, all the Whatsapp messages.
