Apples Never Fall by Liane Moriarty
3.0

I enjoy Liane Moriarty's books; like most other people, I was drawn in by Big Little Lies. She's good at plotting, although the resolution of this one was a bit hokey. I did read it more or less straight through. It's reminiscent of Megan Abbot's The Turnout, as it is about a tennis (vs. ballet) obsessed family, none of whom are actually top-flight, although they are driven by their parents' (and, to be fair) their own love of the game.
