Happy Place by Emily Henry

5.0

I’m baffled at how long it took me to read this.

Emily does it every time, and I’m not sure how.
Wyn and Harriet were everything!!!!

“I love you”
"Don't say that."
"Why not?" he whispers.
"Because… those words don't belong to me anymore.”
"They belonged to you before I ever saw you. They belong to you in every universe were in, Harriet."

I’m not crying, you are. The way Wyn loved her was so unmatched, he might be one of my favorite Emily mmc’s.

"In every universe, it's you for me. Even if it's not me for you.
He’s perfect… so perfect.

After being together for so many years, after so much hardship they still found their way back to each other. The house wasn’t their happy place, it was each other.

I can’t ignore their friends now. Their whole group brought me to life. The whole dynamic is something so bittersweet because you know it’s not real. The whole book had me anxious for them because you could see all the tension. Emily wrote some string characters, I have to give it to her. She pushed their limits and they made it out.

I have so much to say about this book, but I’ll end it here. This book is a must read and Emily out does herself time and time again! This book is my happy place and the audiobook is just as perfect too!

"How many universes do you think we're together in?"
"Higher than either of us can count."
