The Unidentified: Mythical Monsters, Alien Encounters, and Our Obsession with the Unexplained by Colin Dickey

Hello, conspiracy theories. It's been a while.  👋🏻

I *love* conspiracies, but it's been ages since I've picked up any books about them. This book dives into the weird, the unexplained, and the unexpected while dissecting our interest in it all.

I found this book to be so fascinating. Dickey did a phenomenal job of presenting the unexplainable and then diving into our search for answers. Big names in conspiracy circles popped up, major and minor incidents were revealed, and human nature's fascination with the unidentified was explored. Some conspiracies were debunked with science or the revelation by hoaxers themselves, while some remain open to your own interpretation.

Fun, engaging, and fascinating look at conspiracies - both old and new. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a book that gives you pause... and also makes you laugh out loud at crazy theories.
