Anne's House of Dreams
by L.M. Montgomery
high 3 stars.
“the race of joseph always remembers one another.”
unfortunately it seems as though anne’s house of dreams will not savor as well as the first four did, but providence in all its ethereal, dreamlike beauty remains special. the story was slow moving, and very conservative in its writing (a stark contrast from the first four books , especially in the depiction of anne as the protagonist), but at its core, it was still a book in the anne of green gables series so, how bad could it really have been? lucy maud you never fail.
also one book closer to finally allowing myself to finish the annE netflix original <33
