The first half of the book was good. I was interested in the story. Then when the first body is found and it becomes a procedural is where it fell apart, particularly because the thoughts of the main character are used quite a bit to state the obvious. Her thoughts also make her sound very unintelligent. She supposed to be a detective, but most of the time I was wondering how she passed any test to do such work. The ending was also very bland.  When you only introduce maybe five or six characters, and three of them are dead...it only leaves so many options. And the reason for all of it was...confusing? random?

I liked parts of this, but it really needed better editing, and writing to be honest.
