Did not finish book. Stopped at 46%.

I'm a massive fan of Ruth and her memoirs. I often think about food using her words. But this was unbearable. Reeks of white privilege and Emily in Paris. It's not fun, it's not unputdownable, none of the characters are memorable or even nuanced.
