Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer

Like many of us who read it, we didn't have a choice.
We read the Twilight Saga, enjoying the Romeo & Juliet vibe while forgetting all about what is wrong with how stupid/utterly misogynistic/stuffy the story is.
So we had to read the story from Edward's point of view.

But THIS! It is the exact reason why we should not have enjoyed Twilight so much. The book just reveals straight what Edward has in mind (and what we suspected all along, to be fair): he is a stalker and an oppressive man. I find this book problematic, romanticizing abuse of all sorts.

If you want to inflict yourself with a very cringe-worthy moment, I absolutely recommend it. You will be thrown into Edward's mind and his unquenched desire for a poor girl (Bella, of course) in a very, very wrong way.

So, spare your younger self, remain innocent, and keep away from it.
