I ended up liking this book more that I thought I would. I read it because I want to have more recommendations for my students and found myself enjoying the mystery. I did predict the ending about halfway through which was a little disappointing, but I loved how the author actually made the character’s inner monologues fairly unique. One of my favourite choices she made was how self aware some of them were compared to others. Still not super complex or deep, nor did it leave me thinking, but a fun read I will be recommending to students. Especially those who “don’t like reading”.

Read if you like: Outer Banks, 13 Reasons Why, Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Hush Hush, Gossip Girl, Riverdale before it got bad.
