I was left speechless during this book. The author says right in the beginning this book will make you uncomfortable and she isn't wrong, it does an excellent job of making you uncomfortable. This very much feels like The Handmaid's Tale for the modern age, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC community. 

I don't even want to call it dystopian because it feels too real. It all feels too possible. I'm shook.
