Holy fuck this was so much fun. It's absolutely bonkers and wild, but it's so fun. Go into it knowing NOTHING and be open minded about it, if ya understand the basilisk view point of sex is currency, you'll be fine.
Down a star because of a few things - would have liked a few chapters at the end after the third act.

Ones that show Leo's reunion with Evelyn, the result of King Maximus's cowardice, the other basilisk's being released from under the castle, a filthy reunion chapter between Tem's mum and her basilisk Kronos, Rowe's actions after the crowning of Caspen and Tem, those things, instead of a non-canon threesome scene at the end

I'd read more from the author! A really fun jumping off point into their work.
