*swoooooooon* Beautiful and thoughtful narrative. The author wonderfully weaved together fantastical elements with sociocultural critique w/r/t assimilation, colonization, and xenophobia. and OH, the relationship between Simran and Vina made me SWOON. The buildup for their relationship was so good, including their brief separation which made their reunification that much more impactful. Bravo to Tasha Suri! I can't wait to get my hands on the audiobook and a physical copy of the book to listen and reread. Thank you to Orbit and Tasha Suri for the ARC copy!
