If Ruth Ware writes something, I will read it. I may not love it, but I haven't found anything I haven't at least liked. This was solid and I appreciated how different it was from everything else I've read by her. I liked the story and really liked Jack as a character, but at times it felt like the plot was lagging or getting bogged down by tech explanations. I also didn't love how predictable it was. Generally I find Ware's books have a degree of predictability to the, but this one was to the point that a lot of the ending felt kind of moot. Anyway, still a Ruth Ware stan, so I have that going for me at the very least.
