The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change by Stephen R. Covey, Jim Collins

informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

4.0

Really interesting self-development concepts & principles with an air of spiritual philosophy.

The information and the way it’s presented was explained well, but I felt like I was drowning at the same time? Like it was hard to grasp some principles because of the vague life descriptors. Or there were so many headings, then subheadings, then anecdotes, then more principles after that. This challenged my adhd lol.

I can see the worth in this life philosophy, so I’ll definitely need to revisit and take notes!

Note: I listened to the audiobook while also reading along. The audio doesn’t totally sync up with the book sometimes (at least the edition I had) and I’d noticed that there would be added vocabulary or phrases. Sometimes even whole monologues or cutting through entire segments. I found myself trying to play catch up a lot.
