The Check Please series is one of my very, very favorite pieces of fiction I'm going to be reading and reading Check Please for the rest of my life. It's funny, it's clever, it's romantic, it's complicated, and it has a wonderful ensemble cast. It receives my very highest recommendation.
All I can say about the Huddle zines is: THEY'RE WORTH IT FOLKS. I saved up and treated myself to the digital copies of the zines when I was having a really rough couple of months (I spaced the zines out) and I cannot overstate how great these zines are as potent pick-me-ups.
