This was a cute audiobook! We start out with a run-in at the airport, which causes some tension on one end and attraction on the other. When our main characters meet again at his sisterโs wedding and sheโs a bridesmaid, the attraction builds, despite it being forbidden.
Insta-love is hit or miss for me and this was a partial hit lol I enjoyed the build up but the fact that they were tossing out the L-word after a week is where it went astray for me. But that could totally be your thing! I also do wish there would have been more racing scenes. We get one at the end but itโs mainly just referencing him BEING an F1 racer.
I did love the characters; they were each lovable for their own reasons. And the spice wasnโt too shabby ๐ I also loved the premise of our FMC being a bridesmaid for hire; thatโs like my dream job!! At the end we get a scene where the FMCโs bestie gets her own lead into what Iโm assuming is the next book in the series and I think that one is gonna be GOOD.
