although i know the original greek myth, the ending confused the hell out of me.

i guess it's supposed to be stockholm syndrome?

but it doesn't quite work in the context of this book...i needed way more time spent delving into cory's internal world to believe that

she would ever want to see that man or come back to that island again. as a survivor, the only time i'd want to see Fucker again is if i'd get to [redacted].
