Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers
by Mary Roach
You'll laugh, you'll get a little nauseous, and you'll get a little educated! Mary Roach's writing style takes what is a very morose subject and flairs it up with her own flavor of humor. Her research into the history and current uses of cadavers is thorough, but nowhere close to dry in its delivery to the reader. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, have already enthusiastically loaned it out to a growing list of friends/family, and have decided to donate my body to science (or at the very least, proudly keep my organ donor sticker on my ID). Now on to my next Mary Roach book: Bonk!
