I thoroughly enjoyed this. Black House is a sequel to The Talisman, although it also plays here and there with the mythology that King developed in the Dark Tower series, which made it even more enjoyable since I have read that series and loved it. If you enjoyed The Talisman, you'll probably want to read this one, though it does have it's own unique vibe in comparison. If I had any complaint, it's that the narrative voice made it a little difficult for me to latch on to the story at the beginning, and at various points in the book, it pulled me out of a state of immersion in the story. That's a minor point though, and I'm not a professional book critic, so I'm still throwing 5 stars at this one.
