Pompeii by Robert Harris
4.0

This was the first book I read after moving to Knoxville, found on the new book shelves of the library. It helped renew my love of visiting the library on at least a monthly basis, but usually weekly, as for months, I had no disposable income to purchase books with. I loved seeing how the last days of Pompeii and Herculaneum might have played out, what the people were doing that day. It was very well written, and entertaining, as well as imformative. If you like to read historically based fiction, put this on your list.
