i feel like this book was 50/50 for me, which is a shame because i love his other books. overall, it was an enjoyable read, but nothing too special. the parts about the construction dragged and every time the royal family came up i wanted to stop reading. the parts about the couple and their friend, though! i wanted so much more of that than what we got, it's ridiculous. those 3 are gold and fun and just everything one could dream of. i really wish the plot had followed them more.
