4 // This was quite the interesting conclusion. I won't go into too much detail because I really wasn't thinking to analytically whilst reading this, but it was overall decent.
I will say *spoiler* that Cardan turning into a snake was quite strange, and what was most frustrating was the solutions and problem solving used to abolish the curse.
At parts, the romance also got a bit cliche. There was this one scene where Jude jokes about all the relationships she was ever had involve being threatened death, and honestly that was just Holly Black being self-aware of the enemies to lovers trope which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just stuck out.
Nonetheless, it still felt like a decent conclusion. Its plot may have been rushed to fit the 300 page count but its message still carried through.
