spoilers! oops! :

i am .... so very conflicted on this one. on one hand, the prose was elegant and interesting and made for a very pleasant reading experience. on the other hand, as much as i was invested and rooting for their relationship in the beginning, i hated the ending because they straight up just...aren't good for each other. i appreciate the acknowledgments in reference to bipolar disorder (as someone who also has bipolar and has struggled with medication in relation to it), but i really had mixed feelings about reagan's relationship with aldo in particular, along with her behavior when off her meds and how that reflected on their relationship. it read beyond toxic and kinda edged more into abusive territory imo. idk how i feel so honestly just a solid 3.5 stars tbh? anyway yeah <3
