The Will of the Many
by James Islington
I really enjoyed the main characters personality. I feel like so often main characters are boring or overly serious, and it’s the people around them who bring color to the story. But I enjoyed getting to know Vis.
I often found the descriptions of places and events confusing. And I felt like the story was a little too over reliant on shocks and twists. When you have so many of them they start losing their impact. Though I will concede the twists might also be the product of the world building, where basically everything is a stage, and people have to hide their real intentions. Overall I’m excited for the next one to come out!!!
