Holy shit. I read this book in one sitting with minimal breaks. Like, I had to set it down a few times because it was all so intense and I needed to take a couple seconds to regroup myself before diving back in to this. Because this book was absolutely amazing. Enchanted, or Chanty, always has had a passion for singing, yet her parents want her to put swimming and education first. However, she manages to get to an audition where she meets nearly 30-year-old Korey. Which is where the book kicks into high gear, as if it hadn't with an opening of someone dead.
This book is far from easy to read, but wow. It blew me away and is definitely a favorite of this year and I'll probably keep recommending it to everyone.
