This book was cute and fun, and I really did enjoy the audio version of it. However, I feel like it fell a little flat in some areas. The MMC lacked a bit of depth and I feel like that made it hard to get fully invested in the romance. Considering I’m usually not a huge fan of the single parent trope, I actually really didn’t mind it in this book and I found the FMC really likeable (maybe part of that was the woman in trade rep which I always love to see). The side characters and relationships were also fun and I really wish we got to see more of that throughout the book.
Overall I had a good time reading this, laughed out loud at parts even, so I would recommend it if you’re looking for a cute, 90s romcom inspired story. I also think the audiobook is definitely the way to go for this one.
