I feel almost generous, as this is a book that doesn't deliver on its premise. The author flits between ideas too quickly, and would have benefitted from an extra 50-100 pages to make this both enjoyable and deliver what it promises. The actual main plotline of the book only is fleshed out about 2/3 of the way in, an explored over about 30 pages, if that. The rest is lead up and fallout and whilst those are equally enjoyable and interesting, they could have been two separate books, and the ideas could have been much meatier. I wanted more, but was left hanging at every chapter. Overall, a mediocre book. The writing style was lovely, the idea amazing, the execution lacking.
