Wow! I am absolutely amazed at this book. I loved Brianna as a contemporary romance writer so when she announced she was writing a romantasy I was SO excited and let me tell you this did not disappoint. I think I felt every emotion whilst reading this book. There were so many moments I was giggling, gasping, even tearing up. I love the way that Brianna writes her characters with so many layers, even the side characters. It’s so refreshing to see such multi layered and real characters within a fantasy setting. This world and the history of it was so well interwoven within the action and the plot, which I really enjoyed. The romance and the tension between our main characters was delicious, I ate it up. I loved every moment between the two of them. The ending absolutely wrecked me and I cannot wait for the next book in this series!
