Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain

5.0

As an introvert, (borrowing my friend's phrasing) this book gave me a sense of validation. There were many points where I was nodding my head and verbally agreeing with the book I was reading by myself...
There is a lot of great information with new and old research to back it up. There was a lot towards the end about raising introverted children, which doesn't have much relevance to my life at this time, but it might be interesting to go back to it if that changes (I also read she is working on a version of the book for children, too). Very worthwhile read for introverts and extroverts.
