I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman
5.0
My first thoughts after finishing this book are: holy hell, what the fuck did I just read?
This sci-fi novel dives in head first on what it’s like to be human when everything else is stripped away from us. It brings up questions about time and does it really exist and what other things solely exist because of humanity. Although the ending leaves you hanging, I feel like that’s what life and being human is all about: never really having the answers to all of the questions.
Honestly, this book is going to stay with me a very long time. I love when a book makes me sit back and think every few pages.
