A pretty good book, really grotesque descriptions and very compelling world building. the thing I didn’t like is that it’s very predictable, everything i thought was going to happen, did. so at the end i was just like, well yeah.
Graphic: Animal cruelty, Animal death, Body horror, Death, Gore, Physical abuse, Torture, Blood, Trafficking, Cannibalism, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Confinement, Grief, Death of parent, Pregnancy
The F slur is used twice. It’s in the same scene so once you've passed it that’s it. In context, it does add to the authenticity of the scene and I think belongs in the book.
