The Radcliffe Ladies' Reading Club by Julia Bryan Thomas
4.0

I love the message of this book! I only wish I had been aware of the trigger warning: rape. It came out of nowhere and shifted the premise so much. It was so unexpected that it took me a bit to get back into the story, but I’m glad I did. I loved the books that they read and the conversations they had, and Alice’s role in the evolution of the Radcliffe girls. All of them, including Alice, learned something about themselves in their book club. I liked the way it ended as well and especially who winds up in SF. Just please have content warnings in the future!!!
