Really interesting especially to foodies who love literature. Some of the books selected are not the most well known volumes and if you are not fond of some serious literature then many will be unknown to you. Not that it really matters since the personal link to the books and the recipes they inspired can stand on their own.
I did find that those chapters dealing with books I had read and liked were more interesting to me.
I made two of the recipes so far. One super easy and the other way more technical than I thought it would be. Both tasted great and I still want to dive into some of those bread recipes.
