One Two Three
by Laurie Frankel
To be honest I was going to read this no matter what the reviews said. I enjoyed the authors last book so much that I was anxiously awaiting this one.
This is one of those rare instances where I think the audio book would actually be better than reading a physical copy. I did this on audio and was so glad when I realized how great each of the narrators were and how fitting they were for each character. Brilliant choices.
“ … some people’s bodies make it easy for them to get through life. … And some people’s bodies make it hard. … But your body, your body makes it miraculous.”
One of the siblings says “while I still have pain I’m grateful to have feeling at all” or something along that line.
This is kind of its own unique spin on Erin Brockovich, a story of a community and a set a triplets navigating a legal battle along with their own individual medical battles. I really enjoyed this. I was worried with having so much interest in it and it being one of my highly anticipated releases that I would let myself down and it wouldn’t be everything I wanted it to be. It did not disappoint at all. It was a great fit for me and my reading preferences.
