What a great conclusion to the Farseer trilogy! I loved reading about Fitz and his adventures. It's so unique, this fantasy story that follows a young boy who isn't the chosen one. So many times I thought that he would do the right thing or make the wise choice and he didn't! Or that he would make it out of a situation with luck and he just barely ends up surviving and has permanent damage that affects him throughout the books. It's brutal in that way, I never really knew if Robin was just going to kill off the main character. The stakes are high and though there isn't a lot of main character death, no one feels safe. I think this character is messy and real and was so much fun to read. This is a fantastic epic fantasy for people who want a familiar setting and genre with a more unique story away from the same old tropes.
