Magi – The Labyrinth of Magic – Band 1 by Shinobu Ohtaka

2.0

Though some rare moments were quite funny and I like the scenery (a story set in the desert? I'm down for that, sure), but this is a fucking little boy - and he is already into women with breasts as big as his head?
Nope, that disgusted me.

The entire concept is pretty cool, I guess, but Aladin is very unlikeable to me, I did not enjoy the humor enough to make me want to read more of it. And maybe it is just me, but it feels wrong to be speaking of "dungeons" instead of "temples" or some other word that sounds more appropriate for the land the story is set in. "Dungeon" does not quite fit at all and that bothers me a lot.

I'm probably not going to read more of this, at least not for now. 2/5 is the best rating I could give this volume and I consider that to be a very generous rating.
