This book includes a collection of short stories (3) that return the reader to AlagaĆ«sia. It was written many years after the 4th book in the Inheritance cycle, and I believe it is marked #4.5. It was a bit fun revisiting some characters to see what they were up to, but I found Eragon a crabby adult and not the curious young king-killer I grew to admire.  Besides the last story, it wasn't worth the read, and even then you could live without it. However, with "Murtagh" out, I'm curious to see if this book bridges the gap from "Inheritance".
