Skin to Skin by J.M. Stone

Chloe as a main character is different than Chloe as a secondary character.
I dislike thinking anyone has been a victim. Of domestic violence, even though I've been one myself. But, when it's handled well and the character shows life, love and strength aren't taken away by one person, it can be helpful.
Chloe was traumatically abused by her ex and the recovery she shows when she surrounds herself with supporting people is amazing.
Brandon caused me so many tears in the previous book. He's been a favourite character of mine since Skin Deep and deserves some happiness.
I enjoyed how the relationship developed, even if Brandon exhibited the same caveman like behaviours of his brother (but I love Luke too).
His protective streak and vulnerability were great to read.
